Reine Banu Karamanoglu is ICEF’s Turkey and Europe Agent Relation’s Manager. She worked in European institutions in several fields including education, public relations, law, communication for over ten years, she also had experience in abroad education previously. She has a degree in Bachelor of Arts in Linguistics. She also holds Master of Arts degree in European Studies from Sussex University. She studied in France having gained degrees in Bachelor of Arts and Master of Arts. She had training and certificates in Public Relations and Journalism. She is fluent in Turkish, English and French. She has a beginner level in Italian and German and currently learning Portuguese.

Nick has been at ICEF since 2014, and is Executive Director of EMEAA, helping education and service providers build lasting relationships with quality agents. He studied Spanish & Management at the University of Leeds, including an Erasmus Year at the Universidad Complutense de Madrid, Faculty of Economics & Business. Since graduating from university in 2008, he has been working within the international education sector, previously in business development positions with Study Travel Magazine and Inline. Marketing. He recently completed a Part-Time MBA at the University of Salford, which included a research project focused upon the future of agents

Daniel serves as the president of FEDELE Madrid, an association of leading Spanish language schools in Madrid, dedicated to promoting high standards in Spanish language education and building international partnerships. His language journey began with studies in Spanish in Spain, fuelling a passion that led to further studies at Oxford University. As CEO of International House Madrid, he focuses on immersive Spanish courses for international students. Living in Madrid for over a decade, Daniel offers deep insights into its culture, history, and hidden gems, enriching the learning experience for potential students.

I have a degree in sociology and political science. Having worked at prestigious Spanish language institutions, I have over 25 years of experience teaching Spanish to foreigners. I consider myself to be a Spanish language ambassador. I have been the Director of Academia Paraninfo for more than eight years, and I love what I do.

Safae Benhammou presently serves as the International Relations Officer at the Carlos V Education. Armed with a Master's degree in International Business and Relations from the esteemed University of Toronto, Safae is proficient in multiple languages, including Spanish, French, Arabic, English, and Italian. Following the completion of her academic pursuits, Safae ventured into the realm of international trade, where she honed her negotiation prowess and garnered extensive experience in fostering global partnerships. Transitioning into the field of education in 2014, she has since dedicated herself to facilitating enriching experiences for foreign students.

Martijn has a strong background in the international student segment with 8 years as global director of the International Student Identity Card Association - a founding member association of the World Youth Student & Education Travel Confederation (WYSETC) - and consequently 4 years as founder and managing director of ‘International Student Services’ (ISIC Japan) in Tokyo. In his role as Chief Business Development Officer at ICEF, Martijn is responsible for growth through global and strategic partnerships with providers of services and products relevant to the international student recruitment industry such as Edtech, Student Banking, Insurance, Accommodation, Student & Youth Travel, Consulting etc. Martijn's international profile is characterised not only by his studies but also by the places where he has lived and worked: he has studied Japanese and French at the University of Applied Sciences in Maastricht, International Business Communications at the Radboud University Nijmegen and has lived and worked in Frankfurt, Paris and Tokyo. Now based in Amsterdam, he speaks 7 languages.

Jordi Marín Badenes is a technical advisor responsible for Europe, and Asia working for the Internationalization of Higher Education at the Spanish Public National Agency, (SEPIE), with more than 20 years’ experience in education, Erasmus+ expert and evaluator. Jordi is highly experienced in the fields of foreign language teaching, study abroad, exchange, international, student recruitment and partnership development. His educational background includes a BA in Modern Languages, (Coventry University, UK) and a BA in Hispanic Philology (University of Valencia, Spain). His professional interests include diversification strategies and the promotion of the EU's and Erasmus+ values through international education.

I am a French consultant in higher education since 2011, and I have accompanied several hundred of students to date. In 2020, I specialised in supporting students wishing to go to Spain, being then the main advisor for higher studies in Spain in our agency, Study Experience.

Alejandro Casado Jess, is a lawyer and has a double degree in Law and Business Administration and Management from the European University of Madrid. He is co-founder of the company Homologation Student Services, created in 2013. He is currently the Legal Director at Homologation Student Services and provides legal advice to higher education institutions in Spain that want to promote their internationalization and to international students who wish to carry out their studies in Spain, advising them on the academic documentation necessary to be able to comply with the legal access requirements to the Spanish university system, as well as the immigration procedures necessary to legally reside in Spain.
