A Qualified Education Agent Counsellor (QEAC) qualification gives you an advantage in Australian student recruitment, and is a recommended qualification for education agents operating in the Australian international education space. If you have studied the Education Agent Training Course (EATC) you are eligible to take this exam. Upon successful completion you will receive the QEAC certificate.

How can I take the EATC exam?

The EATC exam is an online, webcam-monitored test. Take it in a quiet, interruption-free location such as your home or office.

What are the technical requirements for the EATC exam?

To take the exam, you’ll need:

  • A computer with a reliable internet connection.
  • A web camera ( built-in or attached to your monitor).
  • A recommended web browser: Google Chrome, Firefox, or Safari (version 11 or higher).

When can I take the EATC exam?

You can take the exam anytime at your convenience, without needing to schedule a specific date or time.

What are the criteria to sit the EATC exam?

You’ll need to meet the following criteria to sit for the exam:

  1. Complete course study:  Finish all online exercises/activities and the self-assessment in the course.
  2. Upload identification: Submit a government-issued ID with your full name, date of birth, and photograph. The document must be clear, focused, and legible, with a file size of at least 400 x 400 pixels.
  3. Upload a profile picture: Provide a clear and recent profile photo on your account.
  4. Provide agency information: Add agency details to your account. If not yet available, you can add this information later.

By purchasing the exam, you agree to the terms and conditions. Failure to meet these criteria will result in rejection of exam access.

What is the processing time for exam access requests?

Please allow up to 7 business days for your exam access request to be processed. You will be notified by email of approval or rejection.

  • If approved: You will receive an email with a hyperlink to access the exam.
  • If rejected: You will receive an email explaining why your access was declined and which criteria were not met. You may reapply after another 7-business-day waiting period.

To avoid delays, ensure all criteria are fulfilled. Please check your spam or junk folders if you don’t receive an email within 7 business days.
